Howdy Dowdy Do That?

Part of the fun of going back 151 years and telling some origin information is playing with how stories can change over time as their told. Clever readers may have been noticing some correlations between the commercial for Rowdydow that opened the comic and this flash back chapter.

I don’t want to get into SPOILER territory, but it’s no coincidence. For instance, y’all remember this guy?
