Howdy Dowdy, My Rowdies

It’s been a while. Welcome back, my little Rowdies. Because it’s been oh so very long since we spoke, I’ve got a nice ripe two page update for y’all. Enjoy!

A2CAF Re2Cap

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to table along with a lot of other cool comic folx at the Ann Arbor Comic Arts Festival (A2CAF) and had a great time. I nearly sold out of the copies of Shred or Dead I brought and DID sell out of the Food Hates You’s that I brought, which was a pleasant surprise.

I wanted to shout out some of the cool kiddos I met while I was there:

Lisa Naffziger is a fellow Top Shelf alumni, so traded books. Check out her book Deja Ross Speaks to Freaks:

I tabled along side Kelci D Crawford who, much like myself, is staying off social media and has a newsletter y’all should consider subscribing to.

Lillian Xie was tabling across from us and her work has such a cool vibe.

Also, I sold a copy of our comic’s anthology Oh Wow Cool to Mr. Comics himself, Scott McCloud. When I was about to take photo of him holding the comic, I requested that he “look grossed out by it”, to which he replied “Oh, in that case…” and picked up a copy of Food Hates You instead.

Overall it was a great success of a show. I hope to be back again in the future.
